We want to form a partnership to develop a Master Plan for over 100 acres just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, near the town of Floyd, Virginia.

Locale is suited for large arena, has ample area for shows and fairs, and is easily accessible from the Blue Ridge Parkway, plus it’s convenient to farm stores and services, Virginia Tech (with College of Veterinary Medicine, large animal clinic) and Roanoke. Approx. 2 hours to other well-known horse communities: Lexington (Virginia Horse Center), 3 hours to Charlottesville, and 4 hours to Richmond (Horse Expo & Trade Show). A majority of the Eastern U.S. population lives within 500 miles of this site.
Green space and residential.
For the enjoyment of the local community and visitors: walking/riding trails, campsites, areas for social gathering
… a natural fit for the Floyd community.
Under the master plan, LCF Group and a potential partner will develop according to an “Equestrian Village” concept, auxiliary to the Olde Christmas Tree Village in Floyd, with local and national exposure. The commercial and residential center surrounds a proposed site for pond, with pleasant views, plenty of open area and wooded hilltops. Opportunities exist for alternative uses seasonally, as an entertainment venue or as host to some specialty shops. We plan to develop this project in order to provide the greatest economic and social value to the communities we serve.
